Bring warmth and character into your home with this lovely mid-century "knitted" lampshade, beautifully updated for modern living. Inspired by Paul Secon, the original shade was made of plywood panels and fiber strands of unknown origin (see last image). We removed the original string, mended and sanded the plywood panels (they still have some minor imperfections, though), restrung the lamp with cotton string in two shades, and rewired it with a blue textile cable and a wooden E27 light socket. This special shade, combining natural texture with a pop of color, will definitely not be found in anyone else's living room!
Please note that this lamp is wired to European standards and comes with a wooden ceiling rose.
