Beautiful, small French sewing basket, handmade from natural rattan with some blue accents, and three little handles.
The original textile lining was replaced with some handwoven Khadi fabric in blue from India. The basket comes with three little vintage spools of thread, a small pair scissors, and a mini lavender pin cushion.
In very good vintage condition, with all the wickerwork intact. The only flaw is that the small closure doesn't work well and opens if you lift the basket by the top handle.
These colourful all-rattan pieces are incredibly hard to find!
