One-of-a-kind shoulder bag, crafted from hand-picked ethnic vintage textiles. The bag is reversible, so you are essentially getting two bags in one!
Materials:
Side 1: Vintage Baoulé blanket from Ivory Coast in cotton with lovely Ikat pattern (formerly worn as wrapper). On the backside, we added a denim pocket with a Baoulé fringe. The flap closure is made from a combination of hill tribe textiles from Vietnam and the metal buckle was salvaged from a century-old horse harness.
Side 2: Handwoven Hmong hemp from Vietnam (formerly a skirt) in indigo blue (naturally dyed). This side features one zippered pocket and one sew-on pocket made from a jungle vine bag combined with an African Indigo textile.
Strap: The strap was taken from a Japanese Maekake apron. It can be adjusted in length.
