Lovely indigo cotton cloth from Mali, traditionally worn as a wrapper.
The indigo-dyed textile consists of seven hand-woven strips that were hand-stitched together to form a larger blanket. The textile features a resist-dye pattern and a little fringe on either side.
In very good vintage condition.
Would look great as a throw blanket, wall hanging or even beach wrapper!
Length (without fringe): 140cm or 55 inches
Width: 92cm or 36 inches
Weight: about 350 grams
Care instructions: hand-wash and air-dry. A machine wash with a delicate cycle should be ok, too. Iron hot.
