Lovely deep blue cotton cloth from Mali, traditionally worn as a wrapper.
The indigo-dyed textile consists of nine hand-woven strips that were hand-stitched together to form a larger blanket. The textile features a beautiful resist-dye pattern in white and a lighter shade of blue.
In very good vintage condition, in fact, this one seems rather crisp and new!
Would look great as a throw blanket, wall hanging or even beach wrapper!

Care instructions: hand-wash and air-dry. A machine wash with a delicate cycle should be ok, too. Iron hot.
