Lovely vintage Coin Dao textile from Vietnam, which would have be used as headdress, but perfectly adequate as scarf, too!
Made from indigo-dyed cotton with delicate hand-embroidery on both ends, as well as a small beaded section and a lovely pink fringe. And of course the eponymous coins! Two coins are missing.
The textile is in good shape. We fluffed up the fringe, as it was a bit matted, and now it’s very soft.
Care instructions: Hand-wash, air-dry, iron hot (leave out the end sections and the fringe).
