Indigo Cloth
Free shipping
Lovely star-pattern cotton cloth from Mali, traditionally worn as a wrapper.
The indigo-dyed textile consists of eleven hand-woven strips that were hand-stitched together to form a larger blanket. The textile features a beautiful resist-dye star pattern in white and has a denim-like colour, irregularly faded.
In good vintage condition. One of the long edges is fraying a bit. We also hand-patched up two holes. There are some very small, slightly worn areas, but nothing that would impact the overall appearance.
Would look great as a throw blanket, wall hanging or even beach wrapper!
Length: 160cm
Width: 120cm
Weight: about 590 grams
Care instructions: hand-wash and air-dry. A machine wash with a delicate cycle should be ok, too. Iron hot.
*This is a vintage textile, likely to have some imperfections. Small holes, frayed edges or other signs of wear. We believe it’s part of the charm of these textiles! All our textiles are cleaned and ready for use.*
